Lawsuit Filed Against Pharmaceutical Giant Merck on Behalf of Young Man Allegedly Injured by Gardasil

By The Children's Health Defense Team

The law firm of Baum Hedlund Aristei & Goldman filed a lawsuit Wednesday against pharmaceutical giant Merck on behalf of a young man, Zachariah Otto, who was allegedly injured by Gardasil, Merck’s HPV vaccine. Baum Hedlund accuses Merck of knowingly and recklessly placing Gardasil’s profits ahead of patient safety. The team is asking for punitive damages to deter Merck from withholding information on the serious adverse events associated with Gardasil while promoting it as “safe and effective.”

Extreme Weather Events Cause Public Health Nightmare as Politicians Remain Cozy With Big Energy

By Jeremy Loffredo

Wildfires have ravaged more than 5 million acres across California, Oregon and Washington state. So far, the fires have killed 35 people, destroyed more than 6,000 structures and forced more than 60,000 people out of their homes.

Even people well outside of these three states have been negatively impacted, with residents reporting hazy weather conditions throughout the country, including in New York City. Smoke from the fires has reached as far as Europe, with hazy yellow smoke visible in the sky in Germany.

The smoke is creating hazardous air quality, with people in Oregon, California and Washington state living with dangerously unhealthy air that is — literally — off the charts.

'A savagely broken food system': Cory Booker wants radical reform ... now

By Lisa Elaine Held , The Guardian

U.S. senator says everybody loses – except the massive corporations that have taken over America’s food industry. “Kids who walk into bodegas can buy a Twinkie product cheaper than they can buy an apple because 90% of our agriculture subsidies go to four major monocrops.” — Senator Cory Booker #BigFood #ProfitsOverPeople

'Governments Love Pandemics': Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Bold and Blunt Podcast

By Children's Health Defense Team

Earlier this week, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. spoke with Cheryl Chumley with the Washington Times podcast “Bold and Blunt.” In a segment titled “Governments Love Pandemics.”

The Show notes: "If you've been taking all the government mandates over the coronavirus at face value, you're making a serious mistake. So says Robert Kennedy Jr., who has conducted extensive research into vaccines and the conflicts of interest permeating Big Pharma."

Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Chumley discussed a range of topics related to the COVID crisis including the upward shift of wealth obliterating the middle class. As authoritarians further clamp down on individual rights and freedoms, the expansion of the tech industry erodes those freedoms even more, with governments and corporations gaining the capacity to monitor even the most intimate aspects of human behavior. Mr. Kennedy also addressed the increase in censorship we’ve seen in recent months, commenting that technology will soon allow governments and industries to censor not only our words, but our thoughts as well.

When asked how America can win back its freedom, Mr. Kennedy stated that we all need to educate ourselves and fight back. In order to reclaim our rights, “We’re going to need to turn over some of the furniture,” he said.

The Top 1% of Americans Have Taken $50 Trillion From the Bottom 90%—And That's Made the U.S. Less Secure

By Nick Hanauer and David M. Rolf, Time

Price and Edwards calculate that the cumulative tab for our four-decade-long experiment in radical inequality had grown to over $47 trillion from 1975 through 2018. At a recent pace of about $2.5 trillion a year, that number we estimate crossed the $50 trillion mark by early 2020. That’s $50 trillion that would have gone into the paychecks of working Americans had inequality held constant—$50 trillion that would have built a far larger and more prosperous economy—$50 trillion that would have enabled the vast majority of Americans to enter this pandemic far more healthy, resilient, and financially secure.

CHD Note: While this piece weaves in the highly debatable premise that the U.S. was not stringent enough with mandates and lockdowns "to contain the virus" and "draconian measures were required," the RAND report herein sheds light on the enormity of the resulting income inequality."

Reimagining Rights and Responsibilities in the United States

By Harvard Kennedy School

Heading into the 2020 election, a national survey of American attitudes toward rights and freedoms in the United States finds surprising bipartisan support by substantial majorities of Americans for rights that are now frequently under political attack. At the same time, the poll reveals that majorities of people feel that rights are facing “serious threat” and are not “secure” and that neither the U.S. government nor U.S. citizens are “doing a good job enforcing and respecting rights.”

Radiall proposes ‘massive modular’ 6G mesh networks with tiny antennas

By Jeremy Horwitz

[CHD Note: While the telecom companies are trying to figure out what 5G is, as they continue to sell false hype to the public, others are already working on 6G. According to Radiall, 6G may be about a mesh of very small antennas that will work using high frequency millimeter waves or near terahertz frequencies. Radiall estimates that 6G will be launched in 2028, a time by which, according to the researchers, we will be living is a different reality and "6G systems will need to deal with an almost unfathomable quantity of data — human brain caliber AI, holograms, digital twins."

In articles like this, discussing why we need a newer technology, the truth about what is wrong with the current technology becomes clear. Indeed, the article explains that 5G, which uses massive MIMO antenna arrays, is “particularly power-intensive.”

While wireless, 5G and the IoT (Internet of Things) are being promoted as solutions to many environmental problems, in fact, wireless is a leading cause of a massive increase in energy consumption, and with 5G's additional 800,000 cell towers and billions more wireless devices they are expected to significantly worsen the problem. These and other applications will require "an order of magnitude more bandwidth than what 5G is beginning to offer," and likely will use some form of millimeter waves or near terahertz spectrum.

We don't know whether these frequencies will be more or less harmful. Existing studies show that these frequencies have bio and adverse effects. Further, more bandwidth means more wireless transmitters, and with them we will see a further increase in radiation levels in our environment. And with more frequencies and modulations further confusing our nervous system and cells, more damage is likely to follow.]
