One year ago today, the Senate began questioning Brett Kavanaugh for his Supreme Court confirmation hearing.

We knew he was wrong for the Supreme Court, but we still didn't know just how bad he really was. Despite the powerful evidence of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Mitch McConnell rushed Kavanaugh through and put him on the highest court in the land. And now, we're seeing the real damage of putting him there.

He's been the decisive vote on eight 5-4 rulings on cases ranging from immigrant detention to partisan gerrymandering. And we can expect the wave of abortion bans passed in the states this year to be in front of him and the rest of the Court soon.

We can't have another Kavanaugh on the bench with so much at stake. With me in the Senate, I'll make sure of it.

Everyone knows that the court is out of balance, just the way Mitch McConnell wants it.

They want to silence women like Dr. Ford, turn a blind eye to precedent and basic rights, and reverse the progress we've made. If we're going to save the Supreme Court, we are going to need to get organized like our lives depend on it.
