John, we've managed to shake up a Congressional district that has long been thought to be solidly Republican.

In 2016, VA-05 voted for Trump by 11 percent. But one month ago, a poll put us down by just two points. And today, a brand-new poll has Cameron one point behind from our Republican opponent, Bob Good.

The gap continues to narrow in our favor. It's happening because voters are responding to Cameron's issue-focused campaign, even as Republicans have launched attack ads filled with misinformation and smears.

The people of VA-05 want real solutions to our healthcare crisis. They want a leader who will stand up to special interests and fight to get corporate money out of politics. They want someone who will fight for them -- for justice, for equity, and for opportunity.
