Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough read a long list of mass shootings where the killer used an AR-15 style assault rifle -- the same kind the FBI says the shooter used in Texas this weekend to shoot 32 people, killing 7 of them.

We have a TV ad featuring a Kentucky hunter and gun owner who supports banning assault weapons saying, "I'd be a pretty bad hunter if I needed an assault rifle."

And, we've identified a matching donor who will help air this ad in Louisville, KY this week while Mitch McConnell is home on summer break. The match makes the cost $414 $207 to air it on Fox News one time.

Watch the TV ad here. Then, can you donate $40 (or even just $4) $20 (or even just $2) to trigger the matching donation and air this ad on Fox News in Louisville this week while McConnell's in town for summer break?

We first made this TV ad in 2013 after the Sandy Hook school shooting as part of a series of ads featuring gun owners who support reform. Sadly, these TV ads are still applicable today -- with the only update being McConnell's now taken $671,347 from the gun lobby, up from $198,615 when we first aired these TV ads.

The TV ads changed the national dialogue and were covered nationally by CNN, The Washington Post, ABC, CBS, Roll Call, Yahoo News, TPM, Huffington Post, and others. In Kentucky, the Louisville Courier Journal, local NBC, local FOX, The Leo Weekly, the Associated Press, and others covered them.

They are just as powerful today -- maybe even more so because they show how long McConnell has been blocking gun reform for the gun industry.

Watch the TV ad here. Then, chip in $40 (or even just $4) $20 (or even just $2) to trigger the matching donation and air this TV ad on Fox News in Louisville, KY while Mitch McConnell's is home on summer break this week.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told PCCC members, "The majority of Americans are with us on the policies. Americans support Medicare for All, expanding Social Security benefits, gun reform, debt-free college, and a $15 minimum wage. Bold progressive values are popular EVERYWHERE. Together, we have the people. Together, with your help, we’ll have the votes." Chip in $3 here.
