Yesterday Dan Forest, Roy’s far-right opponent, made headlines again, though probably not for the reason he wanted to. Just have a look:

Raleigh News & Observer: “NC Lt. Gov. Dan Forest says no masks mandate if he’s governor”

It’s clear Dan Forest is outright denying proven science and playing politics with public health and safety – repeating the false claim that “masks don’t work” (but that doesn’t stop him from selling branded masks on his campaign website).

North Carolina needs a leader who will listen to the science and follow the experts, not one who dangerously spreads misinformation for cheap political gain.

Roy is that leader, but far-right groups are spending MILLIONS of dollars in dark-money to try and defeat us, and it’s having an effect. New polls show our lead cut in half.
