Five dollars, John. That’s it!
That’s what I’m humbly asking you to pitch in as we enter the final stretch of this marathon of an election year.
But listen: I know you’re not the kind of person who parts with their hard-earned money just because someone asks. So I want to fill you in on the context of this election — and tell you why your donation stretches the furthest here in Pennsylvania.
- I’m one of just TWO Democratic Governors running for reelection in a state Trump won. Donald Trump wants to make a statement on November 3rd, John. He wants to kick as many Democrats as possible out of office. And we’re at the very top of his list.
- Pennsylvania is extremely expensive to compete in. We’re talking about 46,000 square miles, multiple major media markets, and millions of voters to reach. So earning folks’ support in all 67 counties? It’s going to take a ton of resources.
- If we win Pennsylvania, Donald Trump loses. It’s that simple. I want to make these midterms a national referendum on Donald Trump. If we win here in the swingiest swing state in the entire country? Trump is weak for the rest of his term. But if we lose? He’ll have more influence and more power than ever before.
Please, can you chip in $5 or whatever you can before our 9PM fundraising deadline? The stakes could not be any higher here in Pennsylvania, and I can’t win without thousands of folks like you on board.
