I’ll be honest with you. It’s been a long few weeks in our house.

Blake is at the campaign office right now, going over numbers one more time. His last FEC deadline before Election Day is tonight, and I know how much he wants to walk into it knowing this campaign has reached its fundraising goal.

I’ve watched him work toward this for a long time. He gets up before the sun, does the farm work, and then goes out and talks to voters until it’s dark.

You’ve probably seen the attacks, too. Our opponent’s campaign has gone after my family, and after my business. It’s not surprising; devaluing a farmer's work is exactly what he’s set out to do. But I also know exactly who my husband is, and so do the people who’ve met him across the North Country.

We have the numbers that show that; our latest poll has us ahead by 4 points. It’s encouraging. But Anthony Constantino has put $16 million of his own money into this race, and I know how fast a lead like that can be tested.

We can’t write a check like that. The only thing I know how to do is ask the people who believe in Blake to stand with us when it matters most.
