Greetings!
We’re following up on Brianna’s email from earlier asking if you could sign Brian’s surprise “Alive Day” card recognizing the 10 year anniversary of the day Congressman Brian Mast was blown up in Afghanistan.

Brian may have lost both of his legs, but it didn’t stop his drive to fight for our country! He worked hard to recover from these brutal injuries, and 10 years later, Brian is representing us as a Republican member in the United States House of Representatives.

Will you sign this card so we can surprise him on this anniversary?
Brian is in the midst of a campaign against an opponent who believes American law enforcement are comparable to the gestapo, who incites mob violence against conservatives and has called all Republicans “traitors” to the United States.

Calling Brian a traitor because he supports the President - after losing two legs and a finger in Afghanistan - is despicable! If you agree, will you help us with this uplifting surprise for Brian?
Thank you for showing your support,
Team Mast

Subject: Brian was blown up 10 years ago this week...
Greetings!
This Saturday is an important anniversary for the Mast family. On September 19, 2010, my husband Brian Mast was blown up by a bomb while serving our nation overseas as a bomb technician. He lost both legs and a finger, and it is only thanks to the quick action of his fellow soldiers and the grace of God that he is still alive today!

As we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his “Alive Day,” I am still in awe of Brian’s bravery, and the bravery of American soldiers serving all over the world who put their lives on the line to keep our country safe.

But, specifically, I want to make this 10-year anniversary extra special for Brian, so I’m putting together a card that I’m hoping thousands of people will sign to recognize this important day in his life!

Brian’s courage and resilience has brought him so far from this tragic event 10 years ago. I know that when Brian sees all of the love and support on this card that he will well up with pride knowing how many of us are cheering him on!
Let’s make sure that this date that brought such pain 10 years ago, brings overwhelming joy and pride this week!

With care,
Brianna Mast
