Hi John,
I just wanted to bump this incredible opportunity to learn what the progressive community and movement leaders are doing to win sustainable, permanent power for future generations.
This week,
Run for Something is teaming up with the
National Democratic Training Committee (NDTC),
Sen. Cory Booker (NJ), and Run for Something endorsed candidate
Aimy Steele (Candidate for NC-HD82) for a conversation on recruiting, training, supporting, and electing young, diverse progressives in 2020 and beyond.
We're excited to have Kelly Dietrich, founder of the NDTC joining us, especially because of the work they're doing on the ground to recruit and support state and local candidates in contentious swing states like Florida. Aimy Steele will be an amazing voice in the conversation too -- an educator who is living through the experience of the work we'll be delving into by running to flip a state legislative seat blue in North Carolina.
In any year -- but especially a redistricting year -- there can never be enough support for down-ballot candidates. The stakes are far too high for Democrats to do anything but run the table. Together, Run for Something and the NDTC can build accessible, progressive infrastructure for our leaders to rely on.
And hey, who wouldn't want to spend a night talking about a brighter future with the incomparable Sen. Cory Booker? A guy who got his start on the municipal council of Newark, NJ; became mayor and actually
responded to his constituents on Twitter, and is now a U.S. Senator. Love it.
Click here to buy your ticket and join us tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET for a conversation on winning sustainable, permanent power. Tickets start at just $25.
Hope you can make it,
Amanda Litman
