It's plain as day -- Trump is more worried about winning an election and protecting his wealthy friends' interests than he is about protecting American lives.

What we heard on recent tape recordings is the definition of Donald Trump's phony populism: He gaslights the American people about the dangers of the deadly virus, while behind closed doors he tells his wealthy cabinet member and Washington insiders the truth about how dangerous it was.
