Congress is back in session on Monday, and I’m ready to hit the ground running, because there’s so much work to be done.

My colleagues in the Democratic House Majority and I are working on:

• Preventing rampant gun violence in our country
• Lowering the skyrocketing prices of life-saving prescription drugs
• Protecting patients from astronomical and unexpected medical bills
• Keeping the government funded, open, and operational

And as always, we’re working to hold the Trump Administration accountable.

Everything I do in Washington is to protect the soul of our democracy for my fellow Americans. And that includes you, so I need to ask you a favor.
