John, we’re officially in the final stretch of the race. North Carolinians will start casting their votes in person in just two days.

However, grassroots donations toward our $3 million goal have slowed down significantly – and making up the difference is the only way we’ll have the resources to reach them with Roy’s message before they vote.

If we can raise another $73,000 before our final FEC public filing deadline tomorrow night, we can get back on track. Roy’s confident that folks like you will step up if we just have the courage to ask, so please: Can we count your donation to help close the gap?

With just a day left until we close the books on our grassroots fundraising one last time before the election and report our numbers publicly, we have two options to get over this hurdle.

We either need to see lots of contributions come through the door today and tomorrow – or we need those who do chip in to give a bit more than usual.

Normally, we’d only ask folks making their first donation for $5. Since it’s getting down to the wire, we’re hoping you’ll give just a little bit more this time.

With Senate control on the line in NC, the GOP has spent millions to ensure Roy’s defeat. So we can’t afford for our FEC report to show we fell short tomorrow – because Republicans will take it as a sign our momentum is waning and spend even more to drown us out in these final three weeks.
