Dear John,
I'm reaching out to share an exciting opportunity from our friends at Patient Forward!
Patient Forward [[link removed]] is a national organization working to eliminate barriers to abortion care later in pregnancy and is offering Feminist Campus student groups the opportunity to host a Later Abortion 101 virtual training!
The Later Abortion 101 is a one-hour virtual training designed to give students and advocates a stronger understanding of abortion care later in pregnancy, the unique barriers people face in accessing it, and how we can talk about this issue with greater clarity and confidence. The session combines education and values clarification and is a great fit for student groups interested in reproductive rights, healthcare, gender justice, or movement advocacy.
The training will be facilitated by Erika Christensen, co-founder and co-director of Patient Forward. Erika has spent more than a decade working on later abortion access, policy, and narrative change. She brings both deep movement experience and a personal perspective as a later abortion patient advocate.
This is a great opportunity for your group to learn more about an issue that is often misunderstood or left out of conversations about abortion access—and to build the skills to talk about it in your own communities.
Interested in hosting a training? Email Erika at
