John -- I'm Sylvester Turner, the proud mayor of Houston.

As the mayor of the most diverse city in the country, I know how important it is that every eligible voter participates in our democratic process. Everyone has a stake in the outcome, and it's our civic duty to get involved and cast ballots for the leaders we want to see represent our communities, states, and country - and more importantly, our values.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus poses serious public health challenges to our traditional election process this year, but here's the good news: Vote From Home 2020 is working to make sure everyone can safely and securely make their voices heard in the upcoming election.

The Vote From Home 2020 team is making voting safe and accessible this year by sending mail-in ballot applications straight to voters.

And with fewer than 50 days left until Election Day, their work is more important than ever.

With a $25 contribution, Vote From Home 2020 can send mail-in ballot applications to 20 voters. So I'm asking: If you are able, will you contribute $25 -- or however much you can manage -- to help make sure every voter can safely make their voice heard this November?

We all need to do our part to get voters to the polls this year. Vote From Home 2020 makes it easy to get involved and make a difference.

Thank you,

Mayor Sylvester Turner
