John, the FCC deadline to submit comments against the “Censor the Internet” executive order is TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT! Did you submit your comment yet? If not click here to do it now! More info below.
Hi John
I’m writing to every single person on our list to make sure you submit a comment to the FCC opposing the “Censor the Internet” executive order before the deadline this week.
Click here to submit your comment directly to the FCC now!
TAKE ACTION
Please forward this to everyone you know and share on social media to sound the alarm. This is one of the most blatant and egregious attacks on our Internet rights since SOPA/PIPA or the repeal of net neutrality. We have to stop it.
The executive order would blow up Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, and turn the FCC and its notorious boss Ajit Pai into the online speech police, undemocratically setting the rules for what videos, photos, posts, and opinions social media platforms can and can’t allow.1
And here’s the worst part: telecom giant AT&T was just caught red handed stuffing phony astroturf comments into the FCC docket supporting this Internet censorship order.2
If we don’t flood the FCC with real comments from real people opposing this nonsense right now, politicians will exploit the imbalance in the docket to push forward their plans for Internet censorship. That’s why we’ve built a tool that makes it super easy and fun for people to submit their comments. But now we need your help to make it go viral before the deadline.
Tell your friends and family to submit their comments at https://www.saveonlinefreespeech.org/
Thanks for all you do,
-Evan at Fight for the Future
