As I send this, my legal team is walking into a federal courthouse in Yakima. They're preparing to make oral arguments to block President Trump and Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s harmful operational changes to the U.S. Postal Service.
We will stand in court representing more than a dozen states. We are fighting to protect the right to vote safely in the hotly-contested battlegrounds of Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Nevada.
The Postal Service is a critical institution for all Americans — especially for seniors and veterans who receive their prescriptions by mail. We must protect it.
