North Carolina is, perhaps, the most important state in the presidential race and in the fight to end Mitch McConnell’s Senate majority.

That explains why Senate Republicans called our race “a knife fight” in a recent memo bragging about their attacks on our campaign.

And it explains why Trump is coming back to North Carolina for the — and this is true — eighth time in this election.

It seems Washington Republicans like Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are taking North Carolina seriously — and so are we.
