Friend, two facts about today:

1. It happens to be Constitution Day, the day we celebrate the signing of a document that I swore an oath to support and defend.
2. The final quarterly FEC deadline of this campaign is coming up fast—easily the most important deadline we’ve faced together.

Days like this, when we honor the principles on which we were founded, should remind us all of the stakes in this race and the importance of leaving nothing on the table in November.

Defending our democracy rests, in a very concrete way, on defeating Mitch McConnell this fall. For 36 years, he’s obstructed progress, fostered corruption, and embodied the B.S. that makes people cynical about our government.

We’re running a different kind of campaign, with a different vision of leadership. And we’ve proven to anyone paying attention that this approach works. We’ve pulled neck and neck with Mitch in the polls and inspired a grassroots army like he’s never seen. Now, it’s time to bring it home.

What we do before our FEC deadline will lock in decisions about the final weeks of this race and could very well impact who wins and loses.

So I need to ask you directly: Will you chip in $3 or more to make sure we do everything in our power to win come November?
