When you’re running in a battleground district like this one --

The numbers don’t lie.

At the end of this month, our FEC end-of-quarter deadline hits, and all of our fundraising numbers will be made public. That’s when the pundits, pollsters, and party leaders will see if this team has what it takes to defend this seat.

I’m proud to say that this campaign is powered by individual grassroots donations. But the truth is, it does put me at a disadvantage when I’m competing with a right-wing opponent who has Republican mega-donors and dark money groups on her side.

So friends, I’m asking you to help me even the odds. Will you pitch in whatever you can to help us show our strength in this highly competitive (and expensive!) race?
