Substitute teacher fired over OnlyFans account says business is booming [ [link removed] ]
I understand she was working with kids, and that does add a level of complexity to everything, but short of someone actually thinking far enough ahead to have something in the substitute teacher’s employment agreement that they have some sort of say in what you can do in your free time, what does it matter what she does as a side hustle? The Burnt Planet by William Brittain [ [link removed] ] - A crew of weary explorers finally finds the world they’ve been searching for through years of interstellar decline — lush, fertile, and seemingly abandoned, except for a handful of ragged, violent survivors hiding in the ruins of a bombed-out city. As the scholar aboard finally deciphers what’s left of the dead civilization’s language, the story lands on a gut-punch final line that’s stuck with readers for decades.
