A whistleblower at ICE just exposed that mass hysterectomies are being performed on detained immigrants by force inside of an ICE-operated private prison.

We're horrified by this recent development — because even before this, forced hysterectomies and sterilizations have been a part of our country's history. It's a practice rooted in eugenics and racism; it is dehumanizing, cruel, and an outrageous violation of human rights. It is genocide, plain and simple.

Unfortunately, these forced sterilizations are just the latest example in a long list of ICE's human rights abuses. From widespread sexual assault, neglect of children, and gross misconduct around COVID-19, it's become abundantly clear that we cannot reform ICE. That's why we are asking you to speak out now:

For too long, the Trump administration has enabled ICE to abuse and terrorize immigrants without consequences, separate families, and put children in cages. This has been happening for many years, and is only getting worse and worse.

And during this pivotal election year, we can't waste a single moment. We must do everything to call attention to the horrific human rights violations that ICE has continuously committed whenever we can — and work to vote lawmakers into office that will work with us to abolish it forever.
