The world's most expensive supercomputer is running on trucks.

Not infrastructure. Not a power grid. Trucks.

46 flatbed gas turbines parked in a Memphis lot are the only thing standing
between Elon Musk's $1.77 trillion empire and total blackout.

One federal permit. One expiration date. January 2, 2027.

When those trucks stop — the $45 billion Anthropic contract dies. The
valuation crumbles. The whole empire goes dark overnight.

There is one company that builds the permanent fix fast enough to save it.

Wall Street hasn't found it yet. Dylan Jovine has.

Trump Struck a Russian Diesel Deal. Ukraine Says the Revenue Will Help Fund
Moscow's War.

President Donald Trump has announced an agreement with Vladimir Putin that
would send large volumes of Russian diesel back into American and global
markets. The administration says the goal is to relieve fuel pressure after the
Iran conflict pushed diesel prices sharply higher, but Ukraine and several
European governments warn that the arrangement will also generate new revenue
for Moscow.

Energy Diplomacy Watch
The deal creates a direct trade-off: easing sanctions may add diesel supply
to stressed markets, while restoring a source of export income for Russia at
the same time the war in Ukraine continues.

Trump said Russia agreed to release more than 300,000 metric tons of diesel
immediately, followed by another 500,000 tons in November and roughly 1 million
tons after that. The announcement marked a significant departure from years of
U.S. efforts to restrict Russian petroleum exports following Moscow's
full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Immediate Supply More than 300,000 metric tons of Russian diesel. November
Another 500,000 metric tons are expected. Later Supply Trump said roughly 1
million additional tons would follow.
The timing reflects intense pressure in global fuel markets. Diesel prices
have risen sharply during the U.S.-Iran conflict, while Ukrainian attacks on
Russian refineries have also reduced some Russian processing capacity. Trump
has blamed those Ukrainian strikes for worsening global diesel supply and has
repeatedly urged Kyiv to stop targeting Russian energy infrastructure.

The Asset Edge
The market question is whether Russian barrels materially lower prices or
simply redirect existing supply. Analysts caution that the agreement does not
increase global refining capacity, so its effect on U.S. diesel prices may be
smaller than the headline volume suggests.

Ukraine sees the transaction very differently. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy
called the agreement a gift to Putin and argued that additional export earnings
will support Russia's military budget, including missile production, drones and
recruitment. European officials have echoed that concern and said they do not
intend to ease their own pressure on Russian energy exports.
Brief Points
The agreement was announced on October 9 and involves Russian diesel
returning to American and global markets in several large tranches.

Ukraine says the renewed export revenue will strengthen Russia's ability to
finance its military campaign.

Trump argues that additional Russian supply can help reduce pressure on
diesel prices after the Iran conflict tightened global fuel markets.

Energy analysts caution that the volume may have only a limited effect on
prices because the wider problem includes global refining constraints, not
simply a shortage of Russian exports.

The agreement therefore sits at the intersection of two separate crises: fuel
affordability in the United States and the financial pressure campaign against
Moscow. Any near-term price benefit will now be weighed against the strategic
cost of restoring a revenue stream that Washington and its allies spent years
trying to restrict.
