Suzanne’s blog post this week is about the word “pivot” being a hallmark of the coronavirus pandemic. But she’s not having it, and I kinda agree. There comes a point where adaptation, change and the unexpected become something I am so over. Last week, we here in Colorado saw an over 60-degree drop in temperature in one day. One day. Another example of things being not quite right and almost too #2020. Elsewhere, there are fires raging. Governments warring. Relationships crumbling. But friend, God’s still in charge, and even in the midst of change (or heartbreak, or tragedy), He remains steadfast. Remember that today. It may be all you have to get you through, but it’s enough.
