Howdy John!
"You'll be the first Democrat I ever vote for."
I have been hearing that all across Texas this year.
At a Republican town hall on data centers in Granbury, at least a dozen people came up and told me exactly that. In Leon County, a lifelong Republican who has been fighting data centers met my opponent at a fundraiser and told him to his face, "Because of you selling out Texas, I'm voting for Clayton Tucker."
What brought them to our campaign is the fight to protect our water, our land, and our power from Big Tech. Even Sid Miller admitted it this summer: "Republicans should be on this issue and we're not."
Protecting Texas is bigger than party. Polls show this race is a statistical tie, and early voting starts October 19.
