Apparently, we missed our mid-month fundraising goal last night, which is why I’m extending our deadline to Friday at midnight.

We cannot afford to have any gaps in our budget just as North Carolina voters start mailing in their ballots.

You see, the latest poll of likely voters in North Carolina has our race down to a single percentage point against our Washington opponent — which means every deadline, every TV ad, every phone call, and everything we do (big or small!) will matter in this election.

And unlike my opponent, I’m not taking a single contribution from corporate PACs which corrupt our politics. Instead, this campaign has and will always be funded by small donations from folks like you.

So now, here’s our updated goal: in order to get back on track, we have to bring in 10,000 individual donations by tomorrow night. It’s ambitious, but I know we can do it if we pull together. That’s why I’m asking:
