We're all in on the fight for the crown jewel of redistricting.

Friends,

We call Texas the crown jewel of redistricting for good reason. Whoever controls the Texas House after this November will redraw a projected 39 congressional districts for the next decade.

Last week, we announced over $6.2 million of investments in 18 districts to retake the Texas House. As I told The Dallas Morning News: “We see Texas as one of the most important points of leverage in rebalancing the national balance of power—and that comes from drawing fair maps. The future of power in America is in Texas.”

Republicans just announced they are going to outspend us in Texas and spend more money there than any other state in the country because they know their majority is at risk and how important Texas is for redistricting:

We need your help. Chip in now to help us continue to expand our programs in Texas and other key states across the Sun Belt that will transform our democracy for the next decade through redistricting.

DONATE NOW

Beto O’Rourke won the popular vote in a majority of Texas House districts in his 2018 senate race. We can win back power in Texas if Democratic energy and resources show up, but Democrats have only raised 64% on average as much as their Republican opponents in key target pickup races.

Flipping Texas would prevent dozens of congressional seats from being gerrymandered and put an end to the GOP’s voter suppression agenda that has turned millions of Texas voters away from the polls, many of whom are people of color.

Donate now to help close the resource gap in Texas and key state legislative races across the country that continue to be vastly overlooked by Democrats.

Together, we can win back power in Texas this November.

Thanks for your support,

David
