CBS San Diego: "US Postal Service mailers gave wrong election info for Californians"
Team,
This week we filed our latest legal argument in our lawsuit to protect the postal service.
We're doing everything we can to swiftly resolve this case before November -- and our work couldn't be more critical as President Trump continues to undermine a free and fair election.

As our lawsuit continues, now, in a new mailer sent to Californians, the Trump administration is reportedly informing voters that mail-in ballots must "be requested" and to "add postage to the return envelope if needed."
Both statements could lead to serious voter confusion. In California, mail-in ballots will be sent automatically to registered voters starting October 5th -- and postage is not needed to return your ballot in our state.
No matter your political party or who you support, your right to vote is sacred. That's why I'm suing to protect a free and fair election and that's why we need to keep making our voices heard:

In California, we'll continue to stand up for every citizen and do our part to keep our elections safe and secure.
