Gil is a close friend and has proved a strong ally of mine in Congress as we fight for progress in Southern California and across the nation. I’ve watched as he’s stood up for women’s health and rights in the workplace, has fought for equal pay for women, paid family leave, and has worked to prevent insurance companies from charging women more than men.
For these reasons and more, I’m thrilled to support him in his tight race to retain his congressional seat for CA-39 this November.
But the fact is that Washington Republicans are ramping up their efforts to win back traditionally conservative districts like Gil’s. Already, they’ve announced major media buys in Los Angeles and have launched smear campaigns against Gil.
John, if he’s going to win again, it’s not going to be without our help. John, Gil beat the same opponent last cycle -- and I know that he’s more than capable of doing so again this November. But he needs your help.
