Republicans aren’t just trying to beat me in this race — they are desperately fighting to save Mitch McConnell’s Senate majority and keep their ironclad grip on the Senate.

And their plan could work. Four recent polls have our race within single digits. Other elections across the country are tightening, too — which means Republicans could get away with keeping the Senate majority this November.
