You are invited to Contraceptive Mechanism of Action: The Womb Where it Happens, presented by Dr. Mark Hathaway, Director of Family Planning Services at Unity Health, Senior Tech Advisor for Jhpiego, and a member of Population Connection's Board of Directors on Thursday, September 24th, at 2:00pm ET/11:00am PT.

Mark will share his expertise as a Board Certified OB/GYN. He will review basic female anatomy to outline how different contraceptive methods function as well as touching on common misconceptions surrounding the use of these methods. Participants will leave the presentation with a more complete understanding of the types of family planning methods. One barrier facing women around the world is lack of access to modern contraceptive options. We’re fighting for universal access to appropriate family planning options for people around the world in our field and advocacy work.

Mark’s presentation will be the first in our Fall Speaker Series. Over the coming months, we will host Zoom calls from experts in the fields of public health, population, and reproductive rights.
