It’s Don here.

I’m reaching out right away because we just made a decision we couldn’t wait on: we approved more money to get our TV ad in front of more voters. (I’m serious.)

We can’t win this race without it. Our district has 27 counties, and TV is the fastest way to reach voters who still don’t know who I am.

It’s also a huge expense, and it just put a serious dent in our numbers. So we’ve set a $10,000 rapid response goal to make up for it.

We didn’t have a choice. Derek Schmidt’s ad is up now, and GOP-aligned PACs are spending $14 million in Kansas to defend Republicans and run ads against Democrats. If we didn’t do this, we risked getting drowned out by others.
