What’s new in Trump world?
The top communications official at Trump’s Department of Human Services is on leave after warning Trump supporters to be prepared for armed conflict with the Left if Trump wins reelection, and warning about “deep state” influence at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and saying people at that critical institution are guilty of “sedition.”
Trump – whether on Twitter or at indoor campaign rallies with tightly packed, largely unmasked crowds – continues to attack the validity of the upcoming election, and especially vote by mail, saying that the ONLY way he’ll lose is if the election is rigged.
Trump and his allies are threatening all manner of voter intimidation on Election Day by law enforcement officials and an army of far-right “poll watchers” … and Trump is repeatedly indicating that if the results don’t go his way, he’ll try to contest the results and hold onto power!
We need to win big… and not at the national level, where polls indicated Joe Biden is maintaining a lead, but IN THE BATTLEGROUND STATES that will decide the Electoral College and the actual outcome of the presidential race.
AND we need to be ready to wage an unprecedented campaign to defend our democracy and count every vote should Trump and Republicans attempt to claim victory even if they lose.
This is the fight of our lives and American democracy is on the line like never before.
