Hi friend,
Bloomberg News has reported that Postmaster General Louis DeJoy "gave President Donald Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee more than $600,000 over eight weeks" after learning the top spot at the USPS was up for grabs.
It looks like the investment paid off.
What's more, it's now come out that DeJoy gave the GOP over $1.5 million this election cycle alone. Lisa Graves, the head of the research group who shared this information in her recent testimony to Congress, declared that "This level of partisanship undermines public trust in the Postal Service as an institution."
It certainly does -- although we know the real blame rests with Trump and DeJoy. The USPS Board of Governors seems to disagree, however, with one member telling Congress, "The board is tickled pink, every single board member, with the impact he's having. He's an excellent leader." Are you tickled pink by the impact this top GOP donor is having on our nation? Tell us now:
Do you approve of Louis DeJoy?
