** Action Alert: Ask your MP to attend debate on NI abortion report
------------------------------------------------------------
05 September 2019

Dear SPUC Supporter,

This has been a turbulent week in politics, but as always, SPUC is focusing on news that affects unborn babies.

Yesterday, the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland published a report which outlines progress toward the repeal of Northern Ireland’s current abortion law and the regulation of a new, extreme abortion regime.

The report is expected to be debated in the House of Commons on Monday 9 September. We have written this letter ([link removed]) to MPs, asking them to take part in the debate and speak up against this terrible injustice.

Please ask your MP to attend the debate, even if your MP is anti-life. MPs who are not pro-life need to be aware of how people in their constituency feel about this outrageous and undemocratic attack on the lives of unborn babies in Northern Ireland.

Please send a brief email to your MP. Please feel free to use some of the points in our letter to MPs.

With kind regards,

Antonia Tully
Director of Campaigns
