John, Congress set aside more than $42 billion to bring high speed fiber internet to millions of rural Americans, a massive investment in future-proof technology that would have brought jobs and opportunities to overlooked regions.
But the Trump administration changed the program in favor of Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite program. Then, when the state of Texas awarded its share of grant funding, 99% went to Elon Musk's Starlink over a competitor who bid at a third of the price. Perhaps not coincidentally, Musk had previously contributed $250 million to Donald Trump’s campaign.
It looks corrupt to me, John. This is the kind of thing I would investigate.

My statement shouldn't be remarkable. It is, because for ten years this office hasn't worked that way. Ken Paxton left alone any company affiliated with Elon Musk, and Mayes Middleton has promised to run the office the same way.
The Attorney General's office exists to uphold the rule of law, protect consumers, confront corruption, and serve as an independent check on the abuse of power — by anyone, anywhere.
If you believe Texas could use a good lawyer who answers to the people, not MAGA insiders, chip in $ to my campaign today. [[link removed]]

We have 4 weeks to make our case and end the rampant corruption that has overtaken the AG’s office.
Let's get to work.
