What is the Melton Route?

Melton is an international, adult Jewish learning class offered locally by the JCC of Metro Detroit. It was developed in 1980 at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is named after its founder, Florence Zacks Melton. It is offered in over 50 countries throughout the world.

Melton is non-denominational, learning for pleasure experience. There is no homework, no grade and no pressure. What you can expect is lively discussion, deep thought, some answers and many questions on Judaism.
