Friend --

Picture this:

You’re a three-time cancer survivor, reaching out to your senator’s office for
help -- your husband was furloughed due to COVID-19, and you’re worried about
losing your health insurance.

The response from your senator’s office? If you can’t afford health care, you
shouldn’t have access to it. “Just like if I want to go to the store and buy a
new dress shirt. If I can’t afford that dress shirt, I don’t get to get it.”

I’m floored. But that’s exactly the reason we need to replace Thom Tillis,
because that’s exactly what his office told his constituent. And considering
Senator Tillis voted 15 times to fully or partially repeal the Affordable Care
Act, this should come as no surprise.

This is why we need to elect Cal Cunningham and unseat Thom Tillis this fall. We can do it if we chip in $5 or more to support Cal Cunningham, that’s why I’ve set an aggressive mid-month goal of $5,000 by midnight -- can I count on you? To flip the Senate, we have to flip this seat -- thanks for all your help in
fighting back against the GOP’s never-ending attacks on our health care.

Sincerely,

Chuck Schumer
