As this memo lays out, it’s not just about battleground states. Republicans are worried about losing traditionally red states, and they’re hoping to make up for it by swinging states like Minnesota in their favor.

They’re spending more than $10 million to get their message out here, and they’ve sent their top surrogates — including Mike Pence, Ivanka, Don Jr., and Donald Trump himself — to shore up support and boost our opponent.
