Shana tova from Bend the Arc!

Here are some exciting Election-related Rosh Hashanah updates from our team 👇

Dear Friend,

The High Holidays — and the 2020 election — are here. As we dip our apples in honey for Rosh Hashanah this Friday, early voting will already be underway in five states.

Entering this High Holiday season, I am in a different place than I was at this time last year — we all are. We have faced more change and uncertainty than many of us have ever experienced in our lifetimes — and within those seismic shifts lie the opportunities to bring our vision closer to reality.

More than ever before, I know that transformational change is not just possible; it is within reach, if we fight for it.

We cannot do this work without your support. Please consider making a gift of $18 to power Bend the Arc’s work through Election Day and beyond. <[link removed]>

I am so proud to tell you about how successful our Vote Out Fear phone and text banks to Jewish voters in key swing states have been — and our plans to keep expanding them.

Your support will help us continue this work:

☎️  In our first month, over 500 volunteers signed up to call or text voters in key swing states, with an average of 50 signups per event.

📈 Last week, we set a new one day record, contacting 29,225 voters — and we’re on track to smash the goals we set at the beginning of the campaign.

🗳️ So far, we've helped nearly 2,000 Biden voters in Florida and Georgia get absentee ballots so that they can vote safely, and recruited hundreds of those voters to be “vote triplers”: extending their support by convincing three friends or family members to vote for Biden as well.

📍 And, our success contacting Jewish voters in Florida and Georgia has led us to expand our voter contact program to six more states — Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, and Arizona — where we will be contacting voters to help cement their support for Biden and ensure they have a plan to vote safely.

Your support is urgently needed to help us win big in 2020 and carry it forward to 2021 and beyond. Please make a gift of $18 today. <[link removed]>

The stakes for this election could not be higher. Donald Trump is desperate to hold on to power, and has shown his willingness to do so by any means necessary. But there are more of us, and we know that with strategic organizing and resources we can win.

Your support will help us: <[link removed]>

- Recruit more volunteers to participate in Vote Out Fear phone and text banks

- Support local Bend the Arc groups, who are sponsoring volunteer shifts throughout election season

- Reach, persuade, and motivate Jewish voters through innovative voter contact technology and creative content that shapes the narrative of this election

Donate $18 today to help us do everything in our power to defeat Trump and elect leaders who share our values in November. <[link removed]>

Like Rosh Hashanah, the election is a time to do an accounting of the soul, both for ourselves and for our country. As I think back on the profound challenges of this past year, I remind myself just how sweet it will be when we win.I let myself feel the joy of our collective future. It will take work to get us there, but I know that it is within reach.

With wishes for a good and sweet new year,

Stosh Cotler

PS: Please consider donating $18 to Bend the Arc as we enter 5781, ahead of the most important election of our lifetimes. <[link removed]>
