Time is running out to get Congress to take action to fight hunger, protect workers, and ensure a fair election.
Congress must pass a COVID-19 relief bill before Election Day. The most vulnerable people in the world need your help.
COVID-19 continues to devastate lives and economies here at home and around the world. Half a billion people are likely to be pushed into poverty and up to 12,000 people could die each day from hunger caused by the economic fallout from the pandemic. Almost 200,000 Americans have lost their lives, and many Americans are worried about safely casting their ballot in November. Yet, in a couple of weeks, Senators will leave Washington without providing life-saving funding to fight COVID-19.
This is our last chance before the election. We must call on them to take urgent action to better protect people living in poverty, working people, and our right to vote.
Thanks to supporters like you, the House of Representatives has already passed crucial legislation to help those most affected by the pandemic. But the Senate has failed to take meaningful action so far, so we must demand they work with the House of Representatives to pass a comprehensive relief bill before they head home.
Urge your Senators to pass a new comprehensive relief bill that:
-
Provides life-saving foreign aid to fight COVID-19 and address increasing hunger among the most vulnerable people around the world
-
Ensures people at work have vital protections to keep them safe while on the job
-
Guarantees safe and fair elections in November by providing urgent funding to help protect the vote
We need the Senate to act. On behalf of millions of families going hungry, workers on the frontlines, and voters seeking a fair election, please join us. We need your voice. Call your Senators now.
Thank you for standing with us.
Sincerely,
Gina Cummings
