About one-third of Air Force employees may remain largely out of the office even after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Stephen W. “Seve” Wilson said Sept. 16 during a panel at AFA's virtual Air, Space & Cyber Conference. The same day, Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel, and Services Lt. Gen. Brian T. Kelly suggested that telework may also change the service’s long-term approach to temporary duty travel and permanent changes of station.
