September is shaping up to be one of our worst fundraising months all year. Usually campaigns come out of the “summer slump” by now, but no one expected us to be this far behind with only a few weeks left until Election Day.

• Our total raised for September is 58% less than last month
• Individual grassroots donations have decreased by 80%
• And we’re only 39% of the way toward our monthly goal

These are our real fundraising numbers. Unless we see a surge of grassroots donations in the next couple of days, our plans to win this race will be in jeopardy.
