I wanted you
to see this incredible news right away: The Cook Political Report just
announced they’re shifting our race to a toss-up, meaning it is among the
most competitive across the whole country.
This comes just after a New York Times/Siena poll showed me tied with
Roger Marshall.
All these dead heat polls and updated ratings tell me two things:
1. We can win this race.
2. The attacks from Sen. Marshall and his super PAC allies are about to
get much worse.
[ [link removed] ]That second point is worrying, especially with only days until Kansans
start casting their ballots. That is why, I’m asking you to please donate
to help keep up our momentum all the way through Election Day.

I’ll be honest, resources really do make a difference in a tight race like
this one. Between TV ads, canvassing, field offices and everything else it
takes to run a winning campaign, your support really does add up — and
unlike my opponent, I don’t take money from corporate PACs.
This campaign is fully funded by people like you donating to emails like
this one, and I’m proud of that.
But Marshall and his allies are already spending $23 million to defeat me.
That is more than we have budgeted to spend for the rest of the race.
Their team is running 24/7 misleading attack ads, all in an effort to
drown out our message. Our campaign has given folks hope that we can fix
our broken system. But the truth is, their plan might work if we don’t
meet this moment, raise our goals and fight back. They’re betting we
won't, and I’m counting on you to prove them wrong. We’ve already proven
to be far more competitive in this race than they could have imagined —
now, we need to carry that momentum through Election Day.
[ [link removed] ]So, what do you say, will you chip in today? $5, $10, anything you can
spare really does make a difference in our toss-up race, especially in
these final weeks. Every dollar gets us closer to defeating
Roger Marshall and restoring honesty and decency to our government.
