I wasn't surprised that Donald Trump gave my opponent his “complete and total endorsement,” and it meant that this race became much more competitive, with an onslaught of spending sent our way.

Trump knows this district matters in the battle for the House. Republicans are trying to protect and expand their House majority, and Northwest Indiana is one of the key battlegrounds that will determine who controls Congress.

Republicans need to flip battleground seats like this one to keep their majority. That’s why Donald Trump has thrown his full support behind my opponent.
