Updates from the campaign trail.

Hello Everyone,

Before we get into this week's updates, a quick reminder: ballots are going out to every registered Vermont voter, so keep an eye on your mailbox. Once yours arrives, you have three ways to vote:

Mail it back. Send it early so it reaches your town clerk well before Election Day.

Drop it off in person at your town clerk's office.

Vote in person on Tuesday, November 3.

Not registered yet? Vermont lets you register and vote on the same day!

This race will be close, and every ballot counts. Make your plan to vote today, then ask a friend or neighbor about theirs. Now, here's what's been happening on the campaign trail…

From the field:

Canvasses are picking up momentum as our relational organizing strategy ramps up. We crushed it last week! We have knocked on 12,000 doors and made 30,000 phone calls. As we enter the last month of the campaign, let's keep this momentum going!

We are still pushing to get an endorsement from every town in Vermont. If you or your friend hasn’t endorsed yet, join the hundreds who have!  ([link removed])

On Thursday, Amanda and the team headed down to Charlotte as part of our community conversation event series. Charlotte residents shared how proud they are of their town's energy modernization project, which included the installation of solar panels on the fire and rescue building roof and heat pumps at various town buildings.

On Friday, Amanda headed down south to visit the communities of Marlboro and Newfane. Amanda stopped by the Williamsville General Store for a bite to eat between events. If you have a story about your favorite general store, reply to this email!

On Saturday, Amanda headed up to Cambridge for some incredible music and barbeque from Lee’s BBQ. It was a beautiful fall day with foliage peaking across the state. The sun was shining, and folks were having a great time.

We ended the weekend with a packed room in Lincoln, where residents talked about the importance of their small school and affordable senior living facility, the Weathervane. Residents also shared their thoughts on how community connection is one of the most important aspects of their towns.

We love when people join us on the campaign trail and come say hi! If you want to find out where we’ll be next, check out the calendar on our website ([link removed]). The next stop on the statewide town hall tour is in Brattleboro on October 6th.

Janoo in the News!

Amanda continues to make headlines with her campaign as we rush towards the finish line less than a month away.

Vermont This Week ([link removed]) talked a lot about the polls, but centered on our relational organizing strategy. There is only one degree of separation between you and everyone else in our small state. Call your friends or grab some brunch with your neighbors and talk about this election.

Howard Dean ([link removed]) published an op-ed about our campaign!

Sabato's Crystal Ball ([link removed]) just shifted Vermont's governor's race toward Amanda. National forecasters are taking notice of what we've known all along: this race is competitive, and it's moving in our direction.

Thank you for being a part of this movement. This campaign runs on people like you. See you next week for more updates!

Warmly,

Team Janoo
