My dad fled Cuba after being tortured and imprisoned. He came to Texas with just $100 sewn into his underwear. My mom was born in Delaware to an Irish and Italian working-class family. She became the first in her family to graduate college.
My parents are the embodiment of the American Dream. It’s the dream I’m working tirelessly to defend for my kids and the next generation. But when I look out at what’s happening in our country I’m afraid. Right now, there is a Communist takeover in the Democrat Party. Radical extremists are infiltrating Congress.
