Friend,

There's a group of data analysts (Vote Maximizer, taken nationwide by Third Mountain Action) who set out to answer a simple question this year: with a record 13 competitive U.S. Senate races, where does a single donation actually do the most good?

They ran the numbers on every race, taking into account margins, state size, and how much money each race has already pulled in.

Their answer: South Dakota is number one.

They rank our race the highest in the entire country for "per-vote power" because it's razor-close and South Dakota is small, so moving a handful of votes here matters more than almost anywhere. And when they factor in money — which races are already drowning in cash versus which aren't — South Dakota comes out on top again, for leverage per dollar donated.

So with that in mind, I’m asking you to make the most valuable investment you can in a Senate race today by pitching in to our independent campaign here in South Dakota. [ [link removed] ]

I've been telling you for months that a dollar goes further in South Dakota than anywhere else, but it's good to have outside analysts, with no dog in this fight, run the numbers and reach the same conclusion.

Our leverage is this high because we're this close. We're within the margin against Mike Rounds with one month to go. But he has millions and a web of super PACs spending to erase that margin before Election Day. High leverage only stays high if we can afford to use it.

So if you've ever wondered whether your donation actually makes a difference, here's your answer, in black and white from people who do nothing but measure it: there is no better place in the country to give than this race, right now.

Put your dollar where it does the most good. Chip in $25, or whatever you can, to our campaign tonight. [ [link removed] ]
