With 28 days left, I wanted to show you what the final stretch actually looks like.

Most days start early and end late. We're crisscrossing the district, stopping at diners, farms, living rooms, and front porches, and listening. I hear about the price of gas and groceries, about clinics closing and long drives for care, and about families who are tired of politicians who don't show up.

On weekends, I'm out with our volunteers, the folks doing the real work, knocking on doors, making calls, and having thousands of conversations no ad can replace.

Nobody on this team is asking for a day off. We're at every community event we can reach, no matter the weather. Iowans have never let a little rain keep them from showing up for each other, and neither will we.

That's the spirit of this campaign, and it's how we plan to spend the next 28 days:

* More conversations in every county, rain or shine, until the polls close.

* More voters reached through mail, digital, and TV before they make up their minds.

* A full get-out-the-vote push to turn out every last voter across IA-03.
