John, this news changes everything.

Last week, the Senate Leadership Fund — a powerful GOP super PAC — announced they are shifting resources from another state to launch a massive ad campaign here in Kansas in support of my opponent.

This is a major development. If you still had any doubts that this Senate seat is up for grabs, this news should put those to rest.

What we do now to respond to this news will determine if we win or lose this race. That’s why my team and I just set a rapid-response $250,000 goal to make sure we have the resources to fight back. Please, can I count on you to chip in $5 or more to my campaign and The Majority Rules at this critical moment?

Why is this happening? Because Roger Marshall and his allies are terrified of our grassroots momentum.

They’ve seen the polls tightening. They’ve seen the election forecasters upgrading our chance. They’ve seen everyone from Nate Silver to Fox News to The New York Times saying what six months ago seemed impossible: We can really flip this Kansas Senate seat.

Now, Marshall’s allies are pouring millions into Kansas to stop it from happening. The scary thing is: If we let them outspend us and drown out our message, their plan might work. What breaks my heart is that Kansas families will suffer.

What can we do about it? We fight back. 

We increase our ad buys, up our canvassing and phone banking efforts and make sure Kansans far and wide know that there is a different way forward than the chaos and corruption we’re currently seeing from Washington. But all that takes a lot of resources. 

We can and must do better for our families, so I am urgently asking: Will you please rush $10 or more between my campaign and The Majority Rules to help us fight this latest round of attacks, reach voters across Kansas and WIN?
