Hi John, it’s Justice Anita Earls. I have some exciting news. Governor Wes Moore has agreed to be a Special Guest at my National Virtual Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 20th at 6 PM ET!

Governor Moore’s leadership shows what Democrats can do when they hold power. As a combat veteran and a fighter, he has protected the state against dangerous threats from the current administration, taken historic efforts to fight child poverty, and stood up for the middle class. 

Governor Moore is joining us because he recognizes the far-reaching national implications of this campaign. From DC to Raleigh, extreme politicians have taken unprecedented steps to interfere with the right to vote and expand their own power.

Governor Moore and I will also be joined by Governor Josh Stein, NCDP Chair Anderson Clayton, and the President-elect of the National Bar Association, Charlyn Stanberry. These leaders all are joining together to support me in my final push. 

Here’s why we’re asking folks across the country to care about the North Carolina race; when we lost our court majority in 2022, it opened the door to extreme gerrymandering and helped give Republicans the U.S. House in 2024. Who sits on state courts decides whose votes count, and that affects every state. 

I am the only Supreme Court Justice up for re-election this year, and early voting will be underway in just 9 days! Your support in these final weeks makes a real difference.
